Clear Fused Glass Heart on Wooden Stand

This one off fused glass piece has been made using recycled picture frame glass. As a result there is an unusually beautiful blue hue to the finished piece that is barely noticeable, but adds depth and clarity. Kiln carving has been applied to great effect to put a slightly raised heart in the centre of the piece which is then fired in the kiln to leave a smooth textured finish.
